Green Kitchen was opened in July 2016 by Katie and Catherine Gregson-Bourke after a conversation one evening led us to give up our day jobs and take the giant leap into making our idea a reality!
Catherine had previously worked for one of UK's largest vegetarian food distributors and Animal Aid and spent 10 years in Local Government, while Katie had spent many years working as a surveyor and then in homelessness services in Brighton. Neither of us had run a café before! We're glad that two years later, we're still here doing what we love.
We're both vegan and passionate about providing great vegan food.
Our aim is simple - to provide a varied range of great vegan food in a friendly, inclusive and welcoming environment. We're dog-friendly too!
